When to sail: August at the peak, November and September at the low point
On Bastia–Savone, a foot passenger with a reclining seat pays €62.42 on average in August, against €35.30 in November: the dearest and the cheapest months recorded for this profile. June (€40.00 on average), July (€39.37), September (€36.65), October (€37.69) and November (€35.30) all stay grouped between €35 and €40; August alone breaks away upwards. Even in August, the foot-passenger ticket starts at €36.00, but the month's average reaches €62.42: minimum and average pull clearly apart that month, whereas they meet in November (€35.30 on both counts).
For a trip with a car and a cabin, the low month shifts: September becomes the cheapest. One adult with car and cabin pays €136.57 there on average (from €99.00), while August reaches €218.19. For two adults, the same pattern: €166.89 on average in September (from €123.00) against €272.35 in August. A family of two adults and two children with car and cabin drops to €215.96 on average in September (from €161.00) and peaks at €346.23 in August. Across the four profiles, August is systematically the dearest; the trough is November for the foot passenger, September as soon as a car comes aboard.
