Bastia–Livourne ferry: what the readings show

On the Bastia–Livourne route, a single company appears in our readings of 1 July 2026: Corsica Ferries. The prices below are aggregates of dated observations, expressed either as a minimum ("from") or as an average ("on average") — two distinct measures.

Foot passenger with a reclining seat: July cheapest, August dearest

For an adult foot passenger with a reclining seat, the cheapest month on average is July, at €37.60 (the ticket starts at €30.03, recorded on 3 July 2026). The most expensive month on average is August, at €55.76. In August the recorded minimum nonetheless drops to €30.20 (on 3 August), while the average climbs to €55.76: low-priced tickets survive, but the spread of fares there is far wider than elsewhere.

From January to March, the fare stays frozen: a €39.00 minimum in all three months, an average between €39.14 and €39.85. The tariff trough comes in the late season: the minimum falls to €28.00 in September and to €28.60 in October. The cheapest date recorded across the whole period is 25 September 2026, at €28.00. Over the 239 foot-passenger readings, the average works out at €41.31.

The day of the week counts as well: Tuesday comes out cheapest (€39.70 on average) and Saturday dearest (€45.55), a gap of around €6 that reappears, amplified, on the car formulas.

With a car and a cabin: June cheapest, August dearest

For one adult with car and cabin, the cheapest month is June, at €121.00 on average (from €79.03). January, February and March hold around €130.00, and August rises to a €183.13 average. The same hierarchy repeats for two adults (June at €148.80, August at €230.26) and for two adults with two children (June at €194.90, August at €297.39).

One concrete point stands out from the eight cheapest dates: 22 June 2026 tops every car formula, at €79.03 for one adult, €81.03 for two and €85.03 for two adults and two children. On that day, adding a second adult cost €2 more, and two children €4 more — the bulk of the price sat in the car and the cabin.

Coverage and the overall picture

Our data covers January to March then June to December; April and May are not recorded to date. On the car formulas, Tuesday remains the cheapest day on average and Saturday the dearest (€186.00 for two adults against €164.32 on Tuesday). What the readings show: aim for June for a crossing with a car, September–October for a foot-passenger ticket under €29, and avoid Saturday as well as August, the only month where the foot-passenger average tops €50.
